Luna Park Sydney
Heritage-listed harbourside amusement park with the famous smiling face entrance, the Coney Island funhouse and unbeatable Harbour Bridge views.
The Complete Luna Park Sydney Guide for 2026
Luna Park Sydney has been welcoming visitors at Milsons Point on Sydney Harbour since October 1935 and remains one of only a handful of original 1930s amusement parks still operating anywhere in the world. The park is built directly under the northern pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and is protected by its own act of parliament — the Luna Park Site Act — making it a permanent part of the Sydney skyline alongside the Opera House. Today the park hosts more than 20 rides and attractions, the original Coney Island funhouse, an arcade, harbourside restaurants and one of the most photographed entrances in Australia: the giant smiling face that has greeted generations of Sydneysiders.
Whether you are planning a family day out, a date night with skyline views, a school holiday trip with the kids or a quick visit while crossing the Harbour Bridge on a Sydney tour, this guide covers everything you need to know — opening hours, current ticket prices, the must-ride attractions, how to get to Milsons Point, where to park, and how to skip the queues by booking online in advance.
